Assistant Manager Human Resources

About the role

LW Group, a raw material trading and supply chain company operating in 31 countries, is looking for an Assistant Manager Human Resources. The role suits an experienced HR professional who wants to attract top talent, build back-office teams and foster a positive, productive workplace aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment: post openings, review resumes, conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation of new hires
• Identify staffing gaps and develop recruitment strategies, and analyse the recruitment market
• Handle employee relations issues such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
• Assist in developing HR policies and procedures and advise management on employment laws and regulations
• Manage employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans and paid time off
• Work with management on employee engagement and retention strategies
• Maintain accurate employee records and protect confidentiality and data security

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a human resources role
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management abilities
