Associate Director – Relationship Manager (Financial Services)

About the role

The client, a leading financial institution in Pakistan, is seeking an Associate Director to lead its corporate and commercial relationship management function. Based in Clifton, Karachi, you will be responsible for growing and protecting a portfolio of multinational, local corporate and SME clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage corporate and commercial client portfolios, ensuring strong relationships and client satisfaction.
• Drive new business acquisition across MNCs, local corporates and SMEs.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and structure credit proposals in line with the institution’s risk appetite.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, including BCA, CDD and regular credit reviews.
• Monitor portfolio performance, repayment schedules and risk indicators.
• Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of experience in corporate/commercial banking or financial services.
• Strong credit appraisal and financial analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of leasing and Islamic finance is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
