Associate Financial Reporting

About the role

JazzSure Insurance is looking for an Associate Financial Reporting (grade AT-II) in Karachi. The role supports monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, general ledger reconciliations, financial closing and audit requirements, working closely with Finance teams to keep financial records accurate and complete.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, investigate variances and outstanding balances, and safeguard the integrity of accounting records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including accounting adjustments, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Prepare supporting schedules, analyses and workings for financial statements and management reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, documentation and audit schedules.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve reporting issues and improve reporting and accounting processes.

Required profile

• Holds or is pursuing CA Inter, ACCA Finalist, ICMA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably in insurance, financial services or a corporate environment; newly qualified ACCA professionals with relevant audit, accounting or finance experience are also considered.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and reporting practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
