Business Development Associate – Recycling Sector

About the role

CircularXchange is a UK‑registered climate‑tech startup connecting textile recyclers in Pakistan with global fashion brands. We are seeking a motivated graduate to be the main point of contact with recyclers in Faisalabad and surrounding areas, bringing them onto our platform and building long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact textile recyclers and waste traders via phone, WhatsApp and in‑person visits.
• Visit recycling units, meet owners, understand operations and onboard them to the platform.
• Create and maintain detailed recycler profiles, including business details, materials, capacity and photos.
• Assist recyclers in creating listings and using the platform effectively.
• Record contacts, visits and follow‑ups, and share market feedback with the UK and Pakistan teams.
• Represent CircularXchange at industry events and association meetings as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, textiles, environmental sciences, engineering or a related field.
• Based in Faisalabad or nearby, comfortable travelling independently to industrial areas.
• Fluent in Urdu and Punjabi for external communication; English for internal communication.
• Organised, reliable and strong at follow‑up.
• Interest in textiles, recycling or sustainability is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WhatsApp for communication.
• Experience using Google Sheets or Excel for data management.
• Ability to learn new online tools quickly.
