Business Development Executive - Islamic Banking

About the role

Meezan Bank, Pakistan's first and largest Islamic bank, is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive in the DHA area of Karachi. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including building relationships with prospective and existing clients to grow Islamic banking products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation, client outreach and follow-ups
• Present tailored solutions that match customers' needs and Shariah-compliant offerings
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Maintain accurate records of business development activities
• Contribute to meeting branch and regional sales targets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field; professional certifications are a plus
• Understanding of Islamic banking principles and Shariah-compliant products (prior experience in Islamic banking or financial services is an advantage)
• Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment, with strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working on-site in Karachi
