Business Development Manager - Family Takaful

About the role

Dawood Family Takaful Ltd (DFTL), a pioneer in Family Takaful (Islamic life insurance) in Pakistan and part of the First Dawood Group, is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager in Gujranwala. The role identifies new business opportunities, builds relationships with individual and corporate clients and promotes DFTL's Family Takaful products in line with Islamic financial principles.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads, and conduct client meetings and presentations
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and service delivery
• Carry out market research and competitor analysis
• Contribute to sales strategies and campaigns to meet growth targets
• Monitor performance metrics, report on pipeline activity and support customer experience and loyalty initiatives

Required profile

• Experience in financial services, insurance or Islamic banking/Takaful, with knowledge of Shariah-compliant products
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field; insurance or Islamic finance certifications are an advantage
• Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings

Required skills

• Strong business development, sales and client relationship management skills
• Communication, negotiation and presentation, including explaining technical product details clearly
• Market research, basic data analysis and strategic planning
• Comfort with CRM tools and standard office software for reporting and pipeline tracking
