Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for DFTL’s Family Takaful products in Gujranwala, identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with individual and corporate clients while adhering to Islamic financial principles.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and leads.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitive offerings.
• Prepare proposals, deliver presentations and meet sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and claims teams to ensure seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation and negotiation.
• Knowledge of Islamic financial products, preferably Family Takaful.
• Experience with market analysis and strategic planning in financial services.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort using CRM or sales tracking systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; master’s degree or certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in insurance or financial services.
• Ability to work on‑site in Gujranwala and travel within the region as needed.
• High integrity and customer‑centric mindset aligned with Islamic values.
