Business Unit Head

About the role

The Business Unit Head is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations and performance of a key business unit within Pak‑Qatar Group. The role focuses on driving growth, ensuring Shariah‑compliant practices and aligning with group‑wide objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute business plans, monitor KPIs and manage budgets to achieve growth targets.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, develop talent and ensure high performance and stakeholder engagement.
• Review financial and operational reports, guide product and service development and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent the business unit in internal and external forums, collaborating with senior leadership and partners.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience, including team development and performance management.
• Strong strategic planning, business development and execution capabilities with a track record of meeting growth targets.
• Sound financial acumen – budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, preferably in financial services or Islamic finance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills across diverse teams and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
