Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Catalyst Group is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a leading strategic organization that spans technology, engineering, manufacturing, and innovation-driven businesses. This senior finance leader will shape financial strategy, strengthen governance, and partner with the executive team to drive sustainable growth and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury functions.
• Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Drive operational efficiency and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and regulators.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance function across multiple entities.

Required profile

• CA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA, or equivalent finance qualification.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong expertise in FP&A, governance, compliance, treasury, and enterprise risk management.
• Experience leading finance in large, diversified or multi‑entity organizations.
• Background in technology, engineering, manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex sectors is preferred.
• Commercial acumen, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
