Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the company’s financial strategy, planning and operations, ensuring long‑term financial sustainability. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, the CFO will provide strategic financial guidance and support business growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead long‑term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and capital allocation.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee accounting functions, including AP, AR, treasury, payroll and general ledger.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month‑end/year‑end close.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and lead audit engagements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity and banking relationships.
• Develop and maintain enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, setting KPIs and fostering a performance culture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience working with executive teams and Boards of Directors.
