Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its overall financial strategy, planning and governance. The CFO will advise the Board on all financial matters and ensure robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of annual budgets, business plans and financial forecasts.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations and compliance with regulations and standards.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and funding requirements to maintain financial stability.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies and risk management systems.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision‑making and business expansion.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances and drive cost optimisation initiatives.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of relevant experience in financial management, corporate finance, budgeting, reporting and internal controls.
• At least 7 years in senior finance leadership roles within large public sector or corporate organisations.
• Member of a recognised professional accounting body (CA, ICMA ACCA, ICAEW) or a Master’s degree in finance from a recognised university.
