About the role
We are seeking a proactive Cloud Engineer to join our team in Lahore. The role focuses on supporting and operating AWS and Microsoft Azure environments, providing first‑line technical assistance, and ensuring the reliability of cloud services.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, alerts, dashboards, and ticketing systems to detect and resolve incidents.
- Provide L1 support for AWS and Azure, handling incident triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
- Perform system administration tasks such as user management, access control, patching, backups, and server health monitoring.
- Coordinate incidents with Infrastructure and Development teams while maintaining SLA compliance.
- Support cloud deployments, maintenance activities, and operational changes.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to monitoring, automation, and processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Cloud Support, Technical Support, or System Administration.
- Hands‑on experience with both AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding of Windows/Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ServiceNow, or Jira.
- Basic scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
