CNC Programmer & Technical Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer & Technical Trainer to develop CNC programs, set up machines, and deliver hands‑on technical training. The role combines practical machining expertise with the ability to teach and assess trainees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and optimise CNC programs for milling and turning operations.
• Write and troubleshoot G‑Code and M‑Code programs.
• Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances and GD&T requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling systems, work‑holding devices, feeds and speeds.
• Identify and resolve programming, setup, tooling and machining issues.
• Conduct theoretical and practical CNC training sessions, including lesson plans, exercises and assessments.
• Maintain training records, attendance and trainee progress reports.

Required profile

• DAE/Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Relevant professional experience in CNC programming and machining.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical training.
