Communications Officer

About the role

Fulcrum is seeking a Communications Officer to lead its internal and external communication initiatives. The role is based on‑site at the Shahra‑e‑Faisal office in Karachi and offers a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Saturday morning shift.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Draft, edit, and proofread press releases, speeches, reports, newsletters, and other corporate content.
• Manage media relations and public communication initiatives.
• Create compelling internal and external communication materials.
• Oversee digital communication channels and social media platforms.
• Monitor communication performance and engagement metrics.
• Coordinate corporate events and stakeholder communications.
• Support employer branding and organizational communication campaigns.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in communications, public relations, media or corporate communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills (mandatory).
• Strong storytelling, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Hootsuite or similar email and social media management tools.
• Familiarity with Canva or comparable design platforms.
