Credentialing Coordinator (Junior)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Credentialing Specialist to join our US healthcare credentialing team. You will support provider enrollment, payer follow‑ups, and credentialing documentation while working closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and efficient processing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track provider enrollment applications for Medicare (PECOS), Medicaid, commercial payers, and managed care organizations.
• Create, update, and maintain CAQH ProView profiles, including re‑attestations.
• Process NPI Type 1 and Type 2 registrations and updates through NPPES.
• Follow up with insurance payers via phone, email, and payer portals regarding application status.
• Verify provider documents, maintain credentialing records, and ensure application accuracy.
• Update internal credentialing trackers and support audit documentation.
• Communicate professionally with payer representatives and internal teams to resolve credentialing issues.
• Learn payer‑specific requirements and assist with process improvements.
• Perform other credentialing‑related administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of US healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment experience.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time‑management.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts aligned with US business hours.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CAQH ProView.
• Experience using PECOS for Medicare enrollment.
• Proficiency with NPPES for NPI registrations.
• Familiarity with payer portals such as Availity and OneHealthPort.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
