Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems

About the role

Telenor Shared Services Pakistan, which delivers transactional business services in Finance & Accounting, HR and IT, is hiring a Data & Analytics Expert for its Finance Systems team in Islamabad. The role develops and operates data integration, data warehousing and analytics solutions on Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and works closely with the cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP used for finance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for projects implementing data warehousing, data integration and analytics solutions on Oracle ADW, ODI and OAC.
• Design, develop and support data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW, sourced from Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS R12.x and other systems.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in ODI, including scheduling, monitoring and resolving load failures.
• Work with application teams, developers and business users to gather and deliver reporting requirements.
• Develop dashboards, reports, datasets and data flows in Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Deliver on SLA KPIs, tune and monitor ADW, ODI jobs and OAC content, fix bugs and handle ad-hoc data extraction and reporting.
• Use BICC, OTBI and BI Publisher for Fusion data extraction and reporting where required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/Computer Sciences or similar, with a technical overview of Financials/SCM processes.
• 6+ years of experience in data warehousing / BI development, hands-on with Oracle ADW, OAC and ODI.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones, in shifts and on public holidays, with good English communication.

Required skills

• Oracle ADW: schema design, SQL/PL-SQL, performance tuning.
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI): mappings, packages, load plans, scheduling and monitoring.
• Oracle Analytics Cloud: datasets, data flows, workbooks/dashboards, semantic modeling.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, dimensional data modeling (star schema) and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Added advantage: Oracle Fusion (BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs, ADF Desktop Integrator), Oracle Financials, SCM and Projects data; EBS R12.2 exposure is a plus.
