About the role
UNICEF Pakistan is seeking a Data and Analytics Officer to strengthen evidence‑based advocacy and support policy dialogue. The role will link analytics, monitoring and learning to improve outcomes for children and youth across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis and produce visualizations to inform policy and program decisions.
- Act as a knowledge broker, synthesising findings from surveys such as MICS and CLS.
- Support field offices with technical guidance on data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Develop and disseminate knowledge products that promote data‑driven decision‑making.
- Provide capacity‑building workshops on data responsiveness, especially during emergencies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Demography, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Geography, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in government, international development, NGOs, or consultancy focusing on research, planning, monitoring or evaluation.
