Departmental Coordinator, Public Health

About the role

Bahria University is hiring a Departmental Coordinator for its Public Health department. The coordinator supports the Head of Department in academic and administrative work and handles student administration and scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the HoD in all academic and administrative matters.
• Assist the HR section in the selection process of fresh intakes.
• Prepare timetables, date sheets and leave records, and allocate course loads for permanent and visiting faculty in consultation with the HoD.
• Liaise with the IT department for the courses offered each semester.
• Update roadmaps on the university website/CMS and help students register for courses.
• Process cases for alternate courses, time-bar waivers, credit transfers, disciplinary matters and other student-administrative cases.
• Keep a daily log of classes and distribute it on time, monitor class punctuality and student attendance, and report to the HoD.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Director, Deputy Directors or Heads of Departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 16 years of qualification in a relevant domain.
• Demonstrated IT skills.
• Relevant experience preferred; 3 years in a reputable organization is preferred.
