About the role

PECHS Girls' School is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic full-time tabla player to join its Music Department. Classical music is an integral part of the curriculum from Year 1 to Year 10, and the school is committed to preserving and promoting the tradition of classical music.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with music teachers during regular music classes.
Accompany vocal and instrumental music lessons, as well as school performances, assemblies and special events.
Foster an appreciation of classical music through engaging lessons.
Maintain musical instruments and related resources, and work collaboratively with the Music Department.

Required profile

Proficiency in playing the tabla, with formal training or recognised experience.
Previous experience teaching children, preferably in a school or similar educational setting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual and passionate about music education and working with children.
