Deputy Director (Architecture & Planning)

About the role

The Punjab Land Records Authority is seeking a senior professional to lead the design, planning and implementation of secure enterprise infrastructure and Active Directory environments. This full‑time, onsite position reports to senior management and plays a critical role in safeguarding the Authority’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage multi‑forest Active Directory environments, including domains, trusts and delegation models.
• Plan and secure enterprise network architectures with VLAN segmentation, DMZ zones and internet‑facing security perimeters.
• Develop secure B2B connectivity and hybrid‑cloud integrations using VPNs, site‑to‑site links and cloud gateways.
• Ensure robust perimeter protection through firewalls, NAT, IDS/IPS and DDoS mitigation.
• Produce detailed architecture documentation aligned with scalability, performance and business continuity requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 16 years of formal education in IT, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
• At least 5 years of post‑qualification managerial experience in the public or private sector.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Cisco CCDP or CISSP are preferred.
