Deputy Manager, Bancassurance Relationship Management

About the role

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is looking for a Deputy Manager, Bancassurance Relationship Management in Karachi. The role develops and sustains strong relationships with bancassurance partners to support the distribution of insurance products. It does not involve managing a team, but supports training initiatives and works closely with sales, marketing and claims teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with bancassurance partners to facilitate the distribution of insurance products.
• Conduct risk assessments and perform insurance underwriting in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Apply actuarial analysis to help design, price and adjust insurance products.
• Nurture customer relationships within the bancassurance channel to improve retention and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and claims departments to deliver integrated insurance solutions.
• Monitor product performance, analyse trends and recommend improvements to grow the bancassurance portfolio.
• Assist in planning initiatives to expand the portfolio and increase market share.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of underwriting and risk assessment activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor products.
• Support training initiatives and coordinate with partners on customer inquiries and claims.
• Review underwriting guidelines and risk assessment frameworks and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Sound knowledge of insurance regulatory compliance and policy issuance and renewals.
• Ability to use customer relationship management platforms to manage relationships.
