Deputy Manager Quality Assurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, detail‑oriented professional to strengthen our Quality Assurance function in a fast‑growing food manufacturing company. The Deputy Manager will implement and maintain quality management systems, ensure compliance with food‑safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement across production.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems to meet food‑safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor QA activities for raw materials, packaging, production processes, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Halal, ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Plan and support internal, external, customer and certification audits; close audit findings promptly.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Track quality performance indicators and prepare analytical reports for management.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Engineering and Supply Chain to uphold product quality.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the QA team to achieve departmental goals.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, food safety and quality excellence.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Food Science & Technology or Food Microbiology.
• 4–5 years of progressive QA experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Preferred certifications: Lead Auditor – FSSC 22000, ISO 9001:2018, Halal Auditing, Internal Auditing.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (production or QA modules) is an advantage.
