Deputy Manager Tax & Fixed Assets & Receivables

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee tax compliance, fixed asset accounting, and receivables management. The role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day operational responsibilities across finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax; prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual returns; manage withholding tax deductions, reconciliations and reporting; liaise with tax consultants, auditors and tax authorities.
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register for plant machinery, equipment, vehicles and other assets; record acquisitions, disposals, transfers and depreciation in line with accounting standards; conduct periodic physical verification and reconcile with accounting records; coordinate with engineering, procurement and operations teams; prepare fixed‑asset schedules and support internal and external audits.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes including invoicing, collections and reconciliations; monitor customer aging reports and follow up on overdue receivables; coordinate with sales and commercial teams to resolve billing and payment issues; review customer credit limits and support credit‑control processes; prepare receivables reports and cash‑flow forecasts; assist in minimizing bad debts and improving receivables turnover.
