Deputy Manager - Taxation

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Deputy Manager – Taxation to join our Finance team at Lucky Landmark. The role involves overseeing all direct and indirect tax matters, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, and supporting strategic tax planning for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage timely filing of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, SST and all statutory returns.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual tax computations, including deferred tax.
• Oversee withholding tax deductions, deposits and certificate issuance.
• Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, appeals and coordinate with tax authorities (FBR, SRB, PRA, etc.).
• Conduct tax analysis for new business initiatives and review contracts for tax compliance.
• Maintain complete tax documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management.
• Prepare periodic tax reports and identify planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants; ensure proper tax accounting in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Deliver tax compliance training and manage tax registration/deregistration for outlets.

Required profile

• CA Finalist / ACCA Member / ICMA or Master’s in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years of experience in taxation, preferably in a corporate or retail/mall environment.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax and Sales Tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• High integrity and strong attention to detail.
