Design & Project Coordination Manager

About the role

The Design & Project Coordination Manager at Work Together oversees and streamlines design and construction projects from start to finish. The role leads a team of two, coordinates several projects at once, and works closely with architects, engineers, contractors and clients. It calls for at least five years of relevant experience and a proven ability to lead teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Design and Construction Coordination teams through their coordinators.
• Maintain an up-to-date overview of ongoing projects, deadlines, progress and pending tasks.
• Ensure timely delivery and proactively identify delays, bottlenecks and risks.
• Monitor coordinators' performance and hold them accountable for project progress.
• Coordinate design, structural, civil and MEP matters with the relevant teams.
• Resolve escalated technical, operational and client issues independently, and communicate with clients when needed.
• Set up project tracking, reporting and documentation systems, and give regular status updates and reports to the CEO.
• Foster collaboration between design teams, construction teams and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least five years of relevant experience in construction and project management.
• Proven ability to lead a team of two and motivate the team.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality results within budget and schedule.
