Quantity Surveyor for BOQs

About the role

A full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor for BOQs is needed in Rawalpindi. The role prepares, reviews and updates Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate measurements and cost breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with engineering and site teams
• Maintain detailed cost records
• Support cost estimation, cost planning and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring budgets and identifying variances
• Assist with tender documentation
• Support negotiations with contractors and suppliers
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cost management processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Understanding of construction materials, methods and local market rates, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation or similar roles in construction or infrastructure is highly preferred

Required skills

• Strong BOQ preparation and management, including accurate quantity take-offs and detailed documentation
• Cost planning, cost control and cost reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimating software
• Numerical and analytical skills, effective communication and collaboration, and ability to meet deadlines
