DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for PostEx in Lahore. The role will support production, staging and development environments and work closely with software, QA and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation and maintain IaC pipelines.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Automate deployment, testing and release processes and support engineering teams.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or Datadog, and perform incident root‑cause analysis.
• Apply security best practices, manage access controls, secrets and vulnerability remediation, and conduct regular security audits.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, product and technology leadership, provide on‑call support and maintain runbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3–6 years of hands‑on DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux system administration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL and security best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
