DevOps Engineer

About the role

Qureos is building an AI‑native hiring platform and needs a mid‑level DevOps Engineer to own and operate the infrastructure that powers its sourcing, screening, and interviewing engine. You will ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and performant for thousands of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Cloud Run) to deliver code safely and quickly.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and lead incident response as incident commander.
• Run blameless post‑mortems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Administer and optimise MongoDB, including backups and disaster recovery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with scripting (Python/Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Participate in on‑call rotation and collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams on production issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level DevOps/SRE experience with full production ownership.
• Hands‑on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE).
• Strong debugging methodology and ability to reason about system failures.
• Comfortable administering MongoDB and optimising its performance.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
