DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer – AI & EdTech

About the role

Aqovia is looking for an experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale the deployment environments of its national‑scale LMS platform. You will own both staging and production environments, ensuring high availability for millions of concurrent users while supporting AI‑driven features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain scalable cloud, hybrid, or on‑premise infrastructure for the LMS platform.
• Architect and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for code compilation, testing, and continuous deployment.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs to proactively resolve bottlenecks or outages.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Implement security measures including firewalls, encryption at rest and in transit, and role‑based access controls.
• Develop disaster recovery procedures, automated backups, and high‑availability configurations for backend databases.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to optimise server performance during peak traffic spikes.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Infrastructure Automation Specialist.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and private data‑center environments.
• Proven ability to write automation scripts and use Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
