Director Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead Zong’s HR function, shaping an integrated strategy that drives business growth, talent sustainability and employee engagement. Reporting to senior management, this role combines strategic vision with operational execution across the full HR spectrum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business priorities and transformation goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and hiring governance to secure quality talent for critical roles.
• Design and optimise organisational structures, headcount and role alignment to improve efficiency.
• Drive talent retention frameworks for high‑potential and critical employees.
• Oversee compensation, benefits and total‑reward programmes ensuring equity and compliance.
• Manage HR budget, policies, processes, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders on people challenges, performance management and culture‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably as an HR Director or equivalent.
• Strong track record in strategic HR planning, organisational design and talent management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business leaders.
• Demonstrated experience managing large HR budgets and complex compensation structures.
