Dispatch Associate - Night Shift

About the role

The Dispatch Associate will serve as the central coordination hub for our HVAC service team during night shift hours. This role ensures technicians are scheduled efficiently, parts are available, and customers receive timely updates throughout the service process.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically assign technicians based on skill set, availability, location, and urgency.
• Prioritize calls, optimize routes, and adjust schedules in real‑time to minimize downtime.
• Order parts, coordinate deliveries, and manage weekly van stock checks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing ETA updates and service reminders.
• Provide phone support during peak times and assist with outbound maintenance scheduling.
• Track service outcomes, update internal systems, and generate reports for management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in dispatch, scheduling, or customer service.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to track moving parts and service schedules.
• Comfortable solving problems under pressure and anticipating needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling and dispatch software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
• Experience using multi‑line phone systems.
• Familiarity with basic office systems and inventory management tools.
