Electrician – Overseas Assignment (Malaysia)

About the role

HR World International, a licensed recruitment and manpower consultancy based in Pakistan, is recruiting an electrician for a construction, manufacturing or facilities assignment in Malaysia. The role is based at the employer's worksite and covers installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in line with safety requirements and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Install and connect wiring, lighting, electrical equipment and control components according to drawings and specifications.
• Inspect electrical systems, identify faults and carry out safe repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Use testing instruments to verify circuits, troubleshoot issues and confirm completed work.
• Follow electrical codes, site procedures and occupational health and safety practices.
• Coordinate with construction, maintenance and other trade teams and report progress or hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas tidy and document inspections and repairs.

Required profile

• Practical experience installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, circuits and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring plans and technical specifications.
• Competence with multimeters and other electrical testing and diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, isolation procedures, hazard identification and safe tool handling.
• Ability to work with supervisors and other trades, with attention to detail, punctuality and physical readiness for site work.
