Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

The team is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for embedded platforms, with a focus on RISC‑V and ARM‑Cortex architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and debug embedded applications using C/C++.
• Work with real‑time operating systems (RTOS) or embedded Linux environments.
• Integrate, test, and validate software on hardware such as Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Arduino, or RISC‑V development boards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across different time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on embedded software, operating systems, or computer architecture.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Strong understanding of CPU architecture, boot processes, linking/loading, interrupt handling, virtual memory, caches, buses and protocols.
• Passion for learning new technologies and delivering high‑quality code and documentation.

Required skills

• C/C++ programming
• Assembly language (preferred)
• RISC‑V architecture
• CPU architecture and system‑level concepts
• RTOS or embedded Linux experience
• Hands‑on work with Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Arduino, ARM‑Cortex‑M or RISC‑V boards
• Python (desired)
• AI frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch, TinyML (desired)
