Executive – Access & Power Operations

About the role

The Executive – Access & Power Operations will lead field operations for Access MSAGs, ensuring seamless performance of the access network and power infrastructure across Gujranwala. You will work with major vendor platforms and oversee critical services such as PSTN, DSL, IPTV, and GPON.

Key responsibilities

• Manage field operations of Access MSAGs on ZTE, Huawei, and Nokia platforms.
• Handle PSTN, DSL, IPTV, and fault‑management issues within the assigned domain.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve GPON performance, including the GPON Customer Handling Index (CHI).
• Operate and maintain power infrastructure – power plants, diesel generator (PDG) sets, rectifiers, batteries, transformers, and AC/DC earthing systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted commercial power and PDG backup for outdoor MSAG sites.
• Mobilize maintenance teams for timely fault response and service restoration.
• Conduct preventive maintenance routines (PMR) of access network elements and perform outage analysis to boost reliability.
• Maintain full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in O&M of NGN/IP/GPON networks and AC/DC power plants.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and outage analysis.
