Executive (Access & Power Operations)

About the role

The Executive (Access & Power Operations) will lead the operation and maintenance of PTCL's access network and critical power infrastructure. You will ensure high availability of PSTN, DSL, IPTV, and GPON services while managing power supply for exchanges and outdoor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage access network elements (OLTs, MSANs, MSAGs) across ZTE, Huawei and Nokia platforms.
• Resolve issues related to PSTN, DSL, IPTV and GPON, improving GPON CHI performance.
• Maintain and monitor DG sets, rectifiers, batteries, AC units, transformers and AC/DC earthing systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted commercial power and backup power for exchanges and outdoor sites.
• Monitor fuel consumption and power usage to optimise operational efficiency.
• Coordinate maintenance teams for rapid fault resolution and service restoration.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and outage analysis to enhance network reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Experience in O&M of NGN/IP/GPON networks and AC/DC power plants.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and database tools.
