Factory Manager

About the role

The Factory Manager will lead daily operations at Dura Flow Plastics’ Lahore facility, ensuring efficient production, high product quality, and strict safety compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on supervision of the manufacturing floor.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics to meet targets.
• Develop and implement production plans, scheduling, and shop‑floor control.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, SOPs, and environmental standards.
• Manage the factory budget, optimise operational costs and resource utilisation.
• Lead, train, roster and manage performance of factory staff, handling conflict resolution.
• Monitor production KPIs, prepare reports and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.).
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain and vendors to secure material availability and manage inventory.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues and liaise with maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing factory operations in plastics manufacturing or FMCG production.
• Strong background in production planning, scheduling and shop‑floor control techniques.
• Experience with quality assurance, process control and statistical tools such as SPC.
• Knowledge of SOP development, GMP, safety protocols and environmental compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train and manage a diverse workforce.
• Effective communication in Urdu and English preferred.
