Finance and Accounting Executive

About the role

KH Group is hiring a Finance and Accounting Executive in Karachi. The role maintains accurate accounting records, prepares financial reports and supports financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. It is a hands-on position that does not involve managing a team, but works closely with other departments to standardise accounting practices and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise accounting records, including ledgers, receivables, payables and bank accounts for assigned companies and business units.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management accounts and detailed financial reports.
• Reconcile general ledger, bank, customer, supplier and inter-company accounts.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and targets, covering revenue, expenses, profitability and working capital.
• Maintain inter-company transactions, settlements and balances across Group entities.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting and financial modelling for new projects.
• Monitor cash flows, collections, payments, liquidity and working capital.
• Coordinate banking activities and routine financial transactions with banks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, taxation and financial regulations and submit financial and tax information on time.
• Support internal and external audits and keep all supporting documents ready.
• Develop standardised accounting, reporting and internal control procedures and prepare management reports for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Strong grasp of accounting principles, finance regulations and tax compliance.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and effective coordination.
• Ability to work across diverse business units and collaborate with other departments.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data preparation and financial modelling.
• Accounting and financial reporting.
