Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

Trilogy is seeking a Finance Manager to lead global finance operations remotely. You will oversee a team of Senior Accountants, stay hands‑on with invoices, payments and reconciliations, and ensure high‑quality finance outputs while driving automation and AI adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Keep finance operations moving through Senior Accountants, prioritizing work based on deadlines, business impact, dependencies and financial risk.
• Inspect finance dashboards and completed work to ensure accuracy of bills, invoices, payments, bank transactions, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and spend allocations.
• Diagnose quality failures, identify root causes and write evidence‑based coaching to prevent recurrence.
• Identify and implement AI, LLM and automation opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or Finance and a recognized professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience with at least five Big 4 audits, either as auditor or client.
• Finance or accounting experience in an organization with $100 M+ revenue.
• People‑management experience with direct responsibility for finance professionals.
• Hands‑on experience across AP, AR, bank and control‑account reconciliations, and revenue/spend allocation.
• Proven ability to prioritize and allocate operational finance work across a team.
• Experience embedding AI or LLM tools into high‑volume finance transaction workflows with measurable efficiency gains.
• Ability to work US business hours.

Required skills

• AI and large language model integration for finance processes.
• Automation platforms such as n8n, Lovable, Claude Code or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and allocation processes.
