About the role
The Finance Officer will join the Finance Department at Meezan Bank’s Head Office in Karachi. This full‑time position supports the bank’s daily financial operations and helps ensure accurate reporting in line with Islamic banking standards.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily payments and manage cash‑related transactions.
- Oversee expense tracking, vendor payables and reconciliation activities.
- Evaluate and monitor internal controls over financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of relevant finance or banking experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, ACCA qualification or CA finalist preferred.
- Knowledge of Islamic finance concepts is an advantage.
Required skills
- Understanding of financial reporting and internal control frameworks.
- Familiarity with expense and payable management processes.
