Financial Analyst

About the role

tapmad is seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, variance analysis and financial modeling. The analyst will work closely with the finance team to analyse large data sets, prepare insightful reports and dashboards, and help drive strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in financial planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Perform variance analysis and explain deviations between actual and planned results.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business analysis and decision support.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Analyse large datasets to identify financial trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support management with ad‑hoc financial analysis, reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
• Develop, maintain and improve financial dashboards using Power BI.
• Automate and optimise reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for decision‑making.

Required profile

• CA / ACCA (Qualified or Finalist) or MBA / BBA / ACF in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A or a similar role.
• Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
• Hands‑on experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Tableau (advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of SQL (preferred).
• Experience with Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.
