Financial Analyst – Transaction Reconciliation (Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our team on a night shift. The role focuses on processing and reconciling daily store transactions, supporting audit activities, and driving improvements in transaction workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Review, clean, and reconcile daily store transactions such as sales, refunds, fuel purchases, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense categorization.
• Generate periodic financial reports, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
• Assist internal audits by preparing documentation and resolving transaction‑level queries.
• Collaborate with U.S. finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate accounting standards.
• Identify inefficiencies in transaction workflows and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA/CA, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment.
• Experience working with U.S. clients in retail or fuel industries.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory reconciliation.
• Knowledge of financial reporting tools.
