Financial Auditor (Immediate Joiner Required)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team in Islamabad. The role involves performing external audit engagements across various industries while ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISAs and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external audit assignments in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Assist in planning, executing and completing audit engagements within agreed timelines.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend operational and financial improvements.
• Conduct substantive and analytical audit procedures and verify accounting entries.
• Identify audit findings, control weaknesses and reporting issues, and communicate them to the Audit Manager.
• Coordinate with client personnel to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
• Assist in drafting audit reports, management letters and other deliverables.

Required profile

• ACCA or CA Inter qualification.
• 3–4 years of relevant external audit experience, preferably with a reputable audit firm.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Professional judgment, ethical conduct and ability to work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Sound understanding of ISAs.
• Audit methodologies, documentation and risk assessment procedures.
• Internal control systems and audit evidence requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (advantage).
