Financial Auditor – Immediate Joiner Required

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team in Islamabad. The role involves performing external audit assignments, preparing financial statements under IFRS, and supporting clients across various industries. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Perform external audit assignments in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements within agreed timelines.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Prepare financial statements in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for operational and financial improvement.
• Conduct substantive and analytical audit procedures.
• Identify audit findings, control weaknesses, and reporting issues and communicate them to the Audit Manager.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with client personnel to obtain required information and resolve audit queries.
• Assist in drafting audit reports, management letters, and other engagement deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to professional ethics.
• Stay updated on developments in accounting, auditing, and taxation standards.

Required profile

• ACCA or CA Inter qualification.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in external audit, preferably with a reputable accounting or audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and sound understanding of ISAs.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and evaluate internal control systems.
• Knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment procedures, and audit evidence requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
