Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Financial Reporting Analyst will support the finance team by preparing accurate monthly reporting packs, analysing revenue and cost data, and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations. The role focuses on improving and automating financial reporting across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly reporting packs and supporting analysis.
• Prepare revenue, cost, overhead and profitability analysis across Group entities.
• Help improve the quality, consistency and presentation of financial reporting, including automation of recurring reports.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of UK VAT, PAYE and wider tax requirements affecting the Group.
• Gather documentation for HMRC queries and ensure compliance documentation is complete and organised.

Required profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business from a reputed university.
• 1‑3 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis or FP&A.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Working knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE (training provided).
