Food & Beverage Manager (F&B) – Islamabad

About the role

Grand City is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to lead its hospitality and dining operations in Islamabad. The role involves overseeing daily F&B activities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and driving efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of all food and beverage outlets.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, presentation and customer service.
• Lead, train, supervise and motivate the F&B team to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for service and operations.
• Monitor inventory, procurement and vendor relationships to ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage workforce planning.
• Track sales, revenue and operating costs, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff and other departments for seamless operations.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant F&B experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, budgeting and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with POS or restaurant management systems.
