Full Stack Developer (Backend Focused) - 100% Remote

About the role

AZKY Tech Labs, a UK/Dubai based agency building AI-powered SaaS and internal tools for clients worldwide, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus. The role is 100% remote, involves working directly with overseas clients on cutting-edge products, and is available for immediate hiring; it is not suitable for people currently employed full-time elsewhere.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web and mobile applications
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following industry best practices
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to deliver robust features
• Optimise application performance, scalability and security
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Take part in code reviews, give feedback and ensure code quality
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and frameworks

Required profile

• Strong foundation and production experience in React, Node and PostgreSQL
• Primary interest in server-side logic, APIs and databases rather than just UI
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and client-server architecture
• Good English, attention to detail, proactive and independent working style, and strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks, and a desire to learn and grow

Required skills

• React.js
• Node.js (REST APIs, e.g. with Express)
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience architecting databases from scratch
