GCSE and A Level Teacher

About the role

Qurat Quran Academy, an education provider based in Rawalpindi, is looking for GCSE and A Level teachers to help students build subject knowledge, strengthen examination skills and make steady progress toward their learning goals. Teachers plan and deliver lessons aligned with the relevant GCSE or A Level curriculum, adapt explanations and activities to students' needs and create a supportive classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structured lesson plans and learning materials aligned with subject syllabi and course objectives.
• Teach subject content clearly, using examples, guided practice and discussion.
• Set and assess assignments, quizzes and examination-style questions, giving constructive feedback.
• Track student progress, identify learning gaps and adjust teaching approaches.
• Support revision and examination preparation, including exam technique and time management.
• Maintain an organised learning environment and share progress or concerns with academy staff and families.

Required profile

• Strong command of the relevant subject at GCSE and/or A Level standard.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt instruction to learners' needs.
• Experience using past papers, examination-style practice and effective revision techniques.
• Classroom or tutoring skills that encourage participation, focus and positive learning habits.
• Clear communication with students, colleagues and families about learning progress.
• Commitment to a respectful, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Required skills

• Lesson planning aligned with curriculum specifications, learning objectives and assessment requirements.
• Assessment skills, including marking work, identifying knowledge gaps and giving actionable feedback.
• Progress monitoring and dependable preparation of lessons and materials.

What we offer

• Pay of PKR 25,000 to 40,000 per month.
• Communication allowance.
• Leave entitlement.
