Head of Cyber Security

About the role

The Head of Cyber Security will lead a dual‑function capability, protecting the company’s AI platforms, cloud infrastructure and data assets while building and delivering cybersecurity services and products for industrial clients such as manufacturing, energy and logistics. This senior position requires deep technical expertise, commercial insight and a product‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement an enterprise‑wide cybersecurity strategy covering AI/ML systems, data pipelines, APIs and cloud environments.
• Establish SOC capabilities, incident response processes and threat‑detection mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and relevant local regulations, implementing IAM, endpoint security and vulnerability management.
• Build and scale client‑facing services including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, SOC‑as‑a‑service, cloud audits and OT/ICS security assessments.
• Develop product road‑maps for industrial AI/IoT security, OT/IT convergence and AI model integrity.
• Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to turn internal tools into commercial offerings suitable for low‑bandwidth markets.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a high‑performing cyber security team and create a consulting‑style services practice.
• Support pre‑sales activities, solution architecture and faster deal closures for enterprise clients.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with both enterprise and client‑facing exposure.
• Proven track record of building or scaling cybersecurity services or products.
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial sectors such as energy, manufacturing or telecom is a plus.
