Head of Enterprise Risk

About the role

The Head of Enterprise Risk will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the bank's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will ensure that risk identification, measurement, monitoring and control are embedded across all business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the ERM framework covering risk appetite, credit, market & liquidity, operational, ESG, Basel, ICAAP and fraud risk.
• Develop and enforce risk policies, acceptance criteria and risk‑rating models, including stress‑testing methodologies.
• Oversee portfolio management processes, credit limit monitoring and market‑risk limits with middle‑office oversight.
• Ensure operational and fraud‑risk controls are effective and integrated into daily operations.
• Manage environment‑risk assessments and maintain up‑to‑date risk rating systems.
• Review processes and procedures regularly to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Escalate and report material risk issues to senior committees and the BRCC.
• Define risk limits, rationales and promote a strong risk culture through training and awareness programs.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and regulators to resolve risk‑related matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of risk management experience within the banking sector.
• Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CA or ACCA.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
