Head of Finance

About the role

Giant Group is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its Lahore finance team. The role will own balance sheet integrity, month‑end close, and ERP governance for a business processing over £2bn in UK invoices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enforce control frameworks across UK entities.
• Deliver month‑end close and balance‑sheet reconciliation on schedule with zero backlog.
• Lead and develop a 20‑person finance team in Lahore, setting standards and conducting performance discussions.
• Own the finance function’s ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred), standardising processes, eliminating manual workarounds and driving automation and AI.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACCA / ACA / CA (no part‑qualified candidates).
• 8+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years post‑qualification and at least 3 years leading a team.
• Proven experience in balance‑sheet reconciliation, month‑end close and end‑to‑end ERP ownership.
• Ability to work independently and hold direct visibility to the Group CFO.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or comparable ERP platform).
